Caledon Country Club
Inglewood, Ontario
Caledon Golf & Country Club is what we at OPC consider to be one of the gems of southern Ontario. Great value for your dollar, and more importantly a challenging golf course for players of all levels.
Starting with the foreboding tee shot on the 1st hole, which needs to be long enough to carry a small creek, but not so long as to end up on the side, or over the massive raised green some 250 yards away.
Although not a terribly long course Caledon makes up for its length by providing a number of challenging uphill holes which make 350 yards feel more like 450. Notable in the experience at Caledon is the wide variety of shots and shapes needed to successfully conduct your way through this well maintained track.
Overall Caledon is a pleasure to play; while you can't hit driver on every hole, you certainly need to put the ball in the right spot, and clearly need to have a firm grasp on your yardages to get out with a decent score. All in all, a real pleasure to play and sure to bring you back.
